1999 was an amazing year for the Boston Red Sox pitching phenom, Pedro Martinez, who slipped this leather Rawlings glove onto his hand that same year he led the American League in wins (23), ERA (2.07), and strikeouts (313), and collected the pitching Triple Crown, Cy Young award, and All-Star game MVP. This game-worn Rawlings PRO200-4JN is blue with red lacing, and has very nice use, and is well broken-in. Signed by Pedro but the signature is in black marker on the blue portion of the glove and is very hard to see. "Pedro Martinez" sewn into the thumb with red thread is a classic touch.
