In the true spirit of political satire, the father and son team of
Issac and George Cruickshank depict Napoleon Bonaparte as a skeletal weasel in two hand-watercolored etchings. George titled his "Little Boney Gone to Pot". Issac gave you the choice of two titles, "The Scare Crows Arrival" or "Honest Pat Giving Them An Irish Welcome". Both measure 9 1/2 x 13" and are in excellent condition with slight staining on the right side of the "Honest Pat" edition. If you think satire is over the edge now, you have to own these. Great early 19th century history lesson.
