Hey Buckaroos! George "Gabby" Hayes (1885-1969) had a film and television career that dated back to the early '20's. By the late 1940's, Hayes had become one of the most popular and widely recognized performers in the business, and had teamed up along the way with both Hopalong Cassidy and, more famously, Roy Rogers. He made an easy transition to television in its earliest days, and this wonderful complete set of comic books dates from that period. The group consists of five full-color 24-page comics, each measuring 2 1/2" x 7", as well as the exceedingly hard to find original mailer. An especially nice set, rating an overall NRMT, with the mailer VG. Fabulous items? Yer darn tootin'.
