The Oakland A's of the 1970's dominated the early part of the decade with a roster that included Reggie Jackson, Jim "Catfish" Hunter, John "Blue Moon" Odom, and Ken Holtzman. Offered are several pieces of very desirable jewelry from their dynasty years of '72 and '73, with a rare tie bar and cuff link set from the phantom series of "71. All are variations on the same 10K gold disc design by Balfour (1" diam.), adorned with "A's" and "World Series", along with their respective year. Two of the press charms are from 1972 (mild tarnishing on the reverse of one specimen) and the double-sided third is from the following year. The matching tie and cuff set (still in their original boxes) was created for a 1971 Championship which was actually played by the Orioles and Pirates. Collectively they grade as EX-MT.
