Spartan, crudely constructed, charmingly weathered in its rusted “s” hooks and worn-down corners, and made from two-by-four’s, hard board and nails, yet it is the hanging sign to the Boxing Club of the Petronellis Brothers, Goody and Pat, who trained (and guided) a young, brazen, tough-as-nails kid from Brockton, Massachusetts, into the force we now know as (and is legally the name of) Marvelous Marvin Hagler - the world middleweight boxing champion and one of the more menacing figures in the boxing ring. EX, vintage and measures 4 ft. x 2ft. Presents like the work of a fine post-modern artist.
