Fresh from the 2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, this Olympic torch is sleek and very modern-looking (no Ancient Greece or Turn of the Century nostalgia here). Metallic blue, it swoops and bends skyward, like the flame of an Olympic torch-bearer blown by the wind, and has numerous holes at its top end, from which the flames pour from their gaseous source in handle. A minimal design, its only engraving is “Torino 2006,” with the five Olympic rings below. Measures roughly 31”, is NRMT, and shows its glorious use with light black char marks around top holes.
