1860's Philadelphia Athletics Team Ribbon- It was not uncommon for ballplayers to wear ribbons as armbands on their uniforms. Because of their fragile nature, few have survived, much less from so important a club as the Philadelphia Athletics. This ribbon measures 9 1/2" by 2 1/2" and features a montage of baseball equipment to the left of the team name. There is some creasing and light fraying to the edges, but otherwise is in particularly nice condition. A lovely baseball artifact.
