From the most infamous season in franchise history comes this incredible flannel "home" jersey worn by pitcher Jim Romano. Donned the year the "Shot Heard 'Round The World" was hit by Bobby Thomson to win the 1951 NL pennant in the bottom of the 9th inning of Game 3, it is sewn with "Dodgers" in blue felt on the chest and "33" in the same blue felt on the back.. In the collar is are "Rawlings", "Dry Clean Only", and [size] "42" tags, while on the tail is a painful reminder of Branca's and Brooklyn's biggest blunder, the year "1951" chain-stitched in blue thread. Completely original but for the "National League 75th Anniversary" patch that has been removed from the right sleeve. Overall, the jersey shows nice game use with some minor spot stains throughout the front. LOA.
