Powell With Kindest Regards-Cordially, Lou Gehrig" in bold, dark black fountain pen. Perfect in form and fluidity from start to finish the autograph and inscription conservatively grade as an "8.5" out of possible "10". Equally impressive is the print on the backside, also in his hand, "J.H. Powell Director Physical Ed-, Cheyenne, Wyoming." Postmarked, "Feb. 26, 1935" from New Rochelle, NY.
