Adirondack model 282C was not the bat most frequently used by the HOF'er during that era, but this sensational lumber specimen certainly saw its share of action alongside the Say Hey Kid. Dating from the most productive seasons of his career (1958-1966), during which he produced eight consecutive seasons of over 100 runs and RBI's, not to mention his 52 homers in 1965, we can only wonder just how many games this extraordinary artifact actually took part in. The 33 oz.'er boasts good wood through out and deep dark stampings on the barrel and mid-section, its knob is stamped with the model number and written with his number "24" in black marker. Made complete by his gorgeous blue felt tip signature that grades a 9/10.
