This blue contract invited HOFer Nellie Fox to another year with the Washington Senators as a coach in 1971. Obtained directly from the Fox family, this contract calls for Nellie to be paid $17,000 for helping Ted Williams and his Senators. This would not only be Fox’s last year with the Senators, but everyone’s, being that in 1972 the Washington team became a Texas team - the Texas Rangers. Fox went on to coach for Texas until 1973. Signed in 9/10 black felt tip "J. Nelson Fox". Also signed by Joseph Burke of the Washington club. EX-MT with mailing folds.
