While recalling the early 60’s pop music scene with silhouetted American Bandstand-like dance poses, this yellowish poster advertises four bands on four days in early November 1966: all four playing at The Oaks in Middletown, New Jersey, all four part of the “TV’s Hullabaloo scene", but only one containing a very young Bruce Springsteen - The Castiles (a name of a popular hair shampoo of the time). High school student Springsteen was vocalist and lead guitarist for the Jersey rock ‘n’ roll band (his second experience in a band), and stayed with them until the late summer of ’68. Measuring 13 x 17 ?” while glued to a black matte (mounted solidly on foam core), it shows little wear, and grades a NRMT.
