Shortstop David Eckstein joined the St. Louis Cardinals (from the 2002 World Series champs the Anaheim Angels) in 2005, and has shined very brightly for the Redbirds. In post-season play the All-Star batted .385 (5-for-13) against the San Diego Padres in the Division Series (including one home run and four RBI’s), and scored a team-high five runs in the NLCS. This rising star’s perfect grey away jersey dons the Cardinal logo (yellow bat hooked by red “C” in Cardinals name with redbirds balancing on ends) across the chest of the button-down front, with Eckstein’s red #22 below it. Spreading across the upper back is “Eckstein” in individual letters, with a large red #22 below that. Commemorating the end of the first Busch Stadium era is a patch on the left short sleeve, “Busch Stadium, Final Season, 1966 - 2005". Tail tagging by Majestic Authentic, size 44, with flag tag “2005". LOA from the Cardinals.
