With the exception of the ultra rare Super Bowl II ticket, the 1978 Super Bowl XII full ticket is the rarest and most expensive ticket. This Super Bowl was one of many firsts. The game was played on January 15, 1978 at the newly opened Louisiana Superdome and was the first Super Bowl played inside a domed stadium. For the first time two players won the Super Bowl MVP defensive tackle Randy White and defensive end Harvey Martin. This was also the first time a defensive lineman was named as the Super Bowl MVP. It was also the first Super Bowl to be played in prime time. This ticket has always been one of the most elusive of full Super Bowl tickets its rarity could be due to the tremendous popularity of the game. A nice PSA 5 EX example with just a tiny wrinkle to the top left corner on the reverse preventing it from grading higher.
