Goldsmith baseball from 1927 bears the signatures of two of the greatest righthanders of all-time, G.C. Alexander and Dazzy Vance. Vance penned his name on the sweet spot in black fountain pen (6/10), with Ole Pete on another panel in the same pen (7.5/10). Notations from barnstorming game read "Merchants Park, Oct. 9th, 1927"..."Tagolene Oilers-4"..."Piggly Wiggly-3"..."Attendance 5000". Orange and black stitched ball is in fine shape overall, and would grade Excellent plus. Two very uncommon HOFer's autographs to find on a baseball.
