Varied grouping of some of the other baseballs Dan Comerford put away for posterity. Ten in all: Golden Jubilee unused NL ball from 1926 (EX); Benny Goodman single signed Ford Frick NL baseball. 7.5/10 autograph in black fountain pen on the sweet spot (EX-MT); 1939 World Champion Yankees are on NM Frick NL baseball. Blue fountain pen sigs are strong, rating 7-9 in strength (most are 8s). Includes DiMaggio, Ruffing, Dickey, Selkirk, Rolfe, Gordon, Crosetti, Henrich, Dahlgren, et al. The Gehrig, McCarthy, Gomez, and Combs signatures are “clubhouse” versions. This particular 1939 Yankee ball was likely penned during the World Series where the Yanks swept the overmatched Reds in four games. 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers team signed ball, with 19 somewhat light autographs (4-5/10); 1946 Brooklyn Dodgers team signed ONL ball w/25 autos: Medwick, Reese, Durocher, Furillo, Higbe, Reiser, Branca, etc. (VG); 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers team signed baseball, which appears to be very problematic, having mainly "clubhouse" autographs throughout (VG-EX). Three Boston Braves team balls 1950 (VG), 1951 (some "clubhouse", EX) and 1952 (VG-EX); Lastly, an unused mini NL ball (Frick) in VG condition.
