April 29th, 1910 letter written in black fountain ink on Central Station, Glasgow stationery. It is written to his close friend and personal jeweler, James Niven, who he wrote to quite often. What makes this one very special is the fact that John L. mentions that he has to get back to report on the Jeffries-Johnson fight for New York Times. He also relates to Niven what a great storyteller he was in Glasgow, spinning his Irish tales. There is also mention of his jewelry for Mrs. Sullivan. The writing is dark, bold and NRMT, but the paper is very fragile at the folds. Some of the folds are separating and could use repair. Signed "John L. Sullivan." One sheet of paper folded in half with all sides written on.
