In the final game of the season of 1951, the two rival teams from Chicago, the Cardinals and Bears, did battle for the second time that season. Once again, the Cardinals bested their rivals. The scores were almost identical. First time, 28-14. Second time, 24-14. The ball was signed by the Cardinals coach and players, including Hall of Famer Charlie Trippi and Pro Bowlers Bill Fischer, Tom Wham, Don Paul, Elmer Angsman and Bob Dove. Ball was presented to Cardinals coach Cecil Isbell. It was Isbell's only victory. He coached only two games, replacing Curly Lambeau as head coach at the end of the 1951 season. Football is "The Duke" and has in black marker "Cards 24 Bears 14." Ball is in EX condition with noticeable fading of the signatures.
