An outstanding collection of rare (26) Venezuelan baseball cards. (20) Cards from a 1931 Venezuelan issue distributed in packages of "Doble Aguila" and "Sport" cigarettes produced by E. Quintana. They measure 2 3/4" by 1 13/16" and the cards are produced on the same type of stock as American tobacco cards. All cards depict in action images. Included are #'s 80, 84, 87, 90, 104,158,164,168,176,179,187,188 Luis Aparicio Sr., 190 Silvino Ruiz, 261, 264 Perucho Cepeda, 268, 248, 273, 301, and 313. The cards grade 10% VG-EX, 50% VG, and 40% lesser. All cards have clean backs and are free of stock loss. Also included are (6) 1931 Diana Cigarrillos cards, they were produced in Venezuela in 1931 by Cigarrera Bigott and distributed in Cigarrillos "Diana" (cigarettes). Each measures 1 3/8" by 2 9/16" these cards were also produced on the same paper stock as American tobacco cards. In terms of scarcity and appearance, they will remind an advanced collector of E107s. Included are #'s 1 Jesus Romero, 18 R Fernandez, 19 Juan Sosa, 20 Braulio Tovar, 22 Pio Lopez, and 23 Ernesto Sanchez. These cards are in GD condition and show wear consistent with their age. These cards are so rare some of the players only have 3 or 4 examples of each known.
