John Franklin "Home Run" Baker batted .307 during 13 seasons with the Philly Athletics and Yankees, and collected an impressive 96 home runs in the dead ball era. His two game-winning HRs against the Giants in the 1911 World Series earned him his nickname. This black and white 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" postcard presents a photo of his Hall of Fame plaque, and has been signed in blue ball point "J. Franklin Baker" at the bottom. The card is sharp and clean with tight corners, and is EX with only a slight crease at the lower left corner. The signature is 10/10.
