This run of sets has probably not been touched in 25+ years. As you read the extensive condition descriptions, you will understand exactly what we are speaking about. Nearly all of the cards have a pack fresh look, and appear to not have been touched for decades. The beautiful 1972 Topps set kicks things off, and not only is this set the most expensive of the 6, it is also one of the sharpest. This is one of the finest raw 1972 Topps sets we have ever seen. There are literally hundreds of cards worthy of grading. The breakdown in 40% Mint, 40% NM-MT, and 20% NRMT. The 1973 set is 25% NM-MT, 50% NM, and 25 % lesser. Key cards include # 50 Clemente NRMT, 130 Rose EX-MT, 142 Munson EX-MT, 193 Fisk NRMT, 220 Ryan NRMT, 305 Mays EX-MT, 320 Brock NM-MT, 350 Seaver NM-MT, and 615 Schmidt NRMT. The 1974 set begins with # 10 Bench NM-M, 20 Ryan NM-MT on front back is miscut, 130 Jackson NRMT, 160 B Robinson MINT, 300 Rose NRMT (oc l/r), 340 Munson EX-MT, and 456 Winfiled is NRMT. The balance is 15% MINT, 30% NM-MT, 30% NRMT, and 25% lesser. This set has been know to be plagued by left to right centering issues and about 30% of the cards are off center. Overall, the 1975 Topps set presents very well it grades 20% MINT, 40% NM-MT, 30% NRMT, and 10% lesser. Included are #'s 61 Winfield NM-MT, 223 Yount NM-MT (oc l/r) 228 Brett NRMT (oc l/r), 320 Rose NM-MT, 500 Ryan NM (oc l/r), 530 Perry NM-MT. If you are a card grader there are numerous NM-MT 8's and MINT 9's in this set. The 1976 Topps set is another beauty with #'s 19 Brett NM-MT, 98 Eckersley MINT, 160 Winfield NM-MT, 240 Rose MINT, and 330 Ryan MINT. The composition of this set is 40% MINT, 40% NM-MT, and 20% slightly lesser. The last of this set run is the 1977 Topps set, it includes # 10 Jackson EX-MT, 70 Bench NM-MT (oc l/r), 95 Hernandez EX-MT, 170 Munson NRMT, 450 Rose NRMT, 473 Dawson EX-MT, 476 Murphy NM-MT. The remaining balance is 15% MINT, 30% NM-MT, 30% NRMT, and 25% lesser.
