The actual baseball hit by the outstanding pitcher Red Faber for his first career Homerun on June 6, 1923 at the brand new Yankee Stadium. This is one of only a very few game used baseballs from the first year of Yankee Stadium that are known to exist. Official AL (Ban Johnson) ball shows tons of use and is inscribed by Red Faber on a side panel "Yankee Stadium Home Run No. 1 June 6, 1923." The original writing was enhanced by Faber later in life after it had faded. LOA from Faber's son.
