The Cardinals played their first game at the new Busch Stadium on May 12, 1966, defeating the Atlanta Braves 4-3. This team-signed bat features signatures of Curt Flood, Lou Brock, Bob Tolan, Nellie Briles, Red Schoendienst, Orlando Cepeda, Tim McCarver, Mike Shannon, Bob Skinner, and more than a dozen other teammates. Signatures are in NRMT black marker on a 35" Bob Skinner game-used Hillerich & Bradsby Model S2 shows nice signs of use. A great item from the first of many great Cardinal years in Busch Stadium.
