When you consider all of the amazing names to come out of Motown, it’s pretty impressive that Jr. Walker and the All Stars were known as the “Ultimate Motown Party Band” but if you had the privilege of seeing them you’d understand. The people at the Whiting Auditorium in Flint on Sept. 6, 1969 saw them head a huge show and no doubt they understood. “Shotgun” zoomed to the charts in 1965 and from then on they rocked the house. Also on the bill, Mary Wells (My Guy), The Contours (Do You Love Me), Marv Johnson (You Got What it Takes) and the Velvelettes (He Was Really Saying Something). Poster is 22 X 31”.
