Itβs no wonder that a series of Wild West Picture Cards with Gum were the hottest thing is trading cards since the gold rush itself. Take this one-of-a-kind original pencil sketch. This remarkable hand drawn sketch was the exact piece of art that was then colorized and turned into card number G-10. The artwork and the card itself--titled Steamboat Burns Bridge--are teamed up in this amazing collection. The card measures (approx) 2 x 2 1/2β and is in NRMT condition. On the rear side is a nine line explanation telling the story behind the fire that took place when the steamboat swung in against the first railroad bridge built across the Mississippi River. The original pencil sketch measures approx 3β x 4β and has the original typewritten working that was used on the printed card.
