Think football greatness and you think Packers, Lombardi, Lambeau Field, frozen tundra etc. The smallest town in America to host a professional sports team lives and dies with their boys in green and gold. There were lots of great years under Lombardi but 1962 might be the best of them all. They won the 1962 NFL Championship, beating a stubborn New York Giants team 16-7. In the regular season, they went a mind numbing 13-1 and had an almost absurd 9 Pro-Bowlers (Starr, Taylor, Wood, Ringo, Moore, Gregg, Forester and the two Kramers, Jerry and Ron). For anyone who liked to throw a football in those days, there was only one worth throwing, “The Duke”. This Duke is special because it has the signatures of the 1962 Championship Packers, in blue ballpoint pen. In addition to the Pro-Bowlers we also have Coach Lombardi, Ringo, Nitschke, Davis, Thurston, McGee, Dowler and the rest. All the signatures are crystal clear and the ball is in NR-MT condition. This ball is a keeper if there ever was one.
