Straight from the late ‘60’s, this set of two posters and an original promo still features the legendary group Cream. From the release of “Fresh Cream” in 1966 to the band’s breakup in November, 1968, Cream defined the potent edge where psychedelia met the blues. The first poster, 17 1/2” x 22 1/2”, red, black and halftone on heavy white card stock, is from Atco Records and refers to the albums “Fresh Cream” and “Disraeli Gears”, also including small photos of the members, as well as a superb concert shot. The second poster, 36 1/2” x 24”, blue and black on white paper, has a closeup of the three musicians, with Atco announcing Cream could now be obtained in 8-track cartridge, 4-track cartridge and cassette. The last item, an 8 X 10 black and white labeled photo, provides a great shot of the group in ‘60’s regalia. Condition is NRMT, with the larger poster folding to 8” x 12”, and the smaller poster showing tack holes in each corner.
