Everyone starts somewhere, even the ‘The Great One’, Wayne Gretzky. For the hockey legend, his start came with the Edmonton Oilers, which he would later lead to four Stanley Cups in the 1980’s. This Oiler team pennant from Gretzky’s first year with the big club features his early signature above the ‘E’ for Edmonton, as well as the autos of other members of the team, including “Ace” Bailey and Dave Semenko. This squad made it to the Avco Finals in 1979, before bowing out to Winnipeg in the final season of the WHA. The pennant is in Very Good condition with vibrant colors in the logo and lettering. There are three tack holes in areas you expect after proudly being displayed on a passionate fan’s wall for sometime. Cool item from the days when Number 99 was still using Clearasil.
