In 1963, shortly after Kennedy’s assassination, renowned sculptor Robert Berks modeled this heroic portrait in bronze. In 1971, the original was installed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., where it remains today. Seen from one angle the face looks young and filled with hope. From another angle the face looks older and more tired. This is a 12” bust (including wooden base) in green patina finish, weighing 11 pounds 4.2 oz.
