In what was then almost unheard of, Tom Fergus played his Junior hockey in Canada with the Peterborough Petes despite being born in Chicago. While he was there he was a teammate of future NHL All Star defenseman Larry Murphy. After four years there he made it to the NHL, joining the Boston Bruins as a rookie for the 1981-82 season. He enjoyed thirteen seasons in the NHL with a few different clubs. This game worn jersey is maroon with white trim has his partially faded name on the inside tag and has a Maska label. On the front is “Petes”. Both of the two toned sleeves have “9” on it, and the back also has a “9.” The sleeves are raggedy and there are nicks and evidence of contact with the boards on it.
