The Cleveland Barons had a very long run in the AHL. From 1937 thru the 1972 season big time hockey was served up along the Ohio shores of Lake Erie. Poor teams and slumping attendance did them in. This royal blue jacket dates to the early 1960's, and sports “Cleveland Barons” patch on left chest, Canadian and American flags on the right sleeve and “T” on the left sleeve. Well-worn wool jacket is in very good condition overall. This is certainly a rare piece from that franchise.
