What an amazing story. In 1937, a young boy named Arthur Richman wrote a letter to the Yankee legend requesting an autograph. Who could have known that sixty years later the young boy would be a top Yankee exec, with an office overlooking the field where Gehrig made history? Card is addressed and inscribed, "Best Wishes Arthur, Lou Gehrig," in pencil in the Iron Horse's hand. Writing is NRMT; card is VG with creasing. Includes modern Yankee Stadium envelope, in which it was given to a Leland's employee at the ballpark.
