All right, Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close-up. Seventy four photos of Heisman Trophy winner Bruce Smith including a group from a trip to Hollywood with his family. Another group is all professional shots from the practice field at Minnesota, including one with legendary Coach Bernie Bierman. A third group is of his time in the military with the 35th Battalion. The fourth group is a series of standard movie stills of his film “Smith of Minnesota.” The fifth group is a collection in a portfolio, featuring a pic with a group that includes Bob Hope and Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsch. The last group is of his high school years. All but a very few are protected by plastic. Some of the shots are professional, others shot by amateurs. Overall EX.
