Unbelievable relic from the esteemed Barry Halper collection likely belonged to a ballplayer on a minor league Milwaukee club (we assume the Brewers), though the details may be forever lost to history. Some things are for certain, however. The quality is first-rate, definitely of professional pedigree. Second, the piece is no more than a few years younger than a century. And third, condition is just spectacular, with barely a dot of staining and only a scattering of miniscule moth holes that will not be visible unless held up to the light. Without a fine-toothed comb examination, you'd have to call it NRMT. Just remarkable.
