From the estate of utility infielder Bill Hunnefield, who ended his career at the Polo Grounds the year he wore this exceptionally rare letterman-style jacket. Body is constructed of navy blue leather, with red, white and blue wool lining. Terrific red felt "NY" over heart is a vintage baseball collector's dream. "Spalding" tagging inside buttoned lapel. Age has caused some cracking of the leather on the left sleeve, and moth holes dot the lining, but overall appearance is strong and restoration is a definite option. Don't count on finding another. Great collectible from the days of Mel Ott.
