Handwritten note, scripted in black ink, by Charles de Gaulle, 18th President of France. Written in French on "General De Gaulle" letterhead, de Gaulle writes to a Cuban official regarding Great Britain's entry into the Common Market at the time. Simply initialed "C. G." Both the initials and text are boldly penned and grade 9/10 overall. Although the note it not dated, it is accompanied by its original mailing envelope bearing a French postmark of "6-1 1967." The note (4.5 x 3.5") displays a few light creases and is in Excellent condition. The envelope (4.75 x 3.5") remains in Very Good condition. Full LOA from PSA.
