Out of that massive argosy of articles comes this full-page shot of the Mick getting off the mark at first base during a game with the Red Sox at Fenway, which is signed in blue ink by every Baby Boomer's idol, a high-toned Mantle marker grading 9/10. Great Sport Magazine shot by Fred Kaplan shows the strain on Mantle's face, as every step was taken in pain. 8 x 10.5" photo is VG w/a few rips along the right and top edges unaffecting image or signature.
