Never was a bat more aptly named than this Willie Mays model Adirondack "Big Stick." As the years go by, Willie's feats in an era long before syringes became part of a ballplayer's equipment bag seem only more impressive, such as 660 homers and 1,903 RBIs, #2 and #9 all-time, respectively. This magnificent and pristine shaft of lumber -- signed by Willie on the barrel -- only makes the point further, as the stick is heavier than today's reed-thin bats and required cable-steel wrists to swing with authority. Signature in blue marker is 8/10. Unused bat is NRMT and a dazzler for display purposes.
