The hands of Walter O'Malley's onetime desk clock are stuck on 6 o'clock but for Brooklyn Dodger fans midnight came in 1957 when O'Malley abandoned the borough for the golden goose of L.A. Thus, the clock is a bittersweet keepsake of a man for whom every tick of the second hand meant time -- and money. Oblong clock with gold hands and border, gold calendar with manually changeable month/day windows and swivel piece denoting the day of the month, all mounted atop a 2.5 x 5.75 x .75" marble base. Gold nameplate on back (facing his guests) engraved "Walter F. O'Malley" in black. EX w/some scratching of the gold but the marble and nameplate are pristine.
