July 21, 1978 letter from Georgie Jessel (3 years before his death) typed on great personal stationery containing an illustration of the old vaudevillian, relating to Murray a letter he'd once received from Ty Cobb in which Cobb swore he never intentionally spiked anyone and had begged, "Please tell this to your many friends." Signed, "Love, George Jessel," the jagged signature in blue marker NRMT as is the 8.25 x 11" letter, w/2 light folds.
