Three near pristine copies of the July 6-7, 2002 edition of the Bennington (Vt.) Banner, the day after Ted Williams died. Unusual for a broadsheet in that the Splinter's full-color photo (from 1958) is on the front page, above the caption "We'll Miss You." Williams was one of the very few people who could have earned such a departure from normal newspaper protocol. Great for Williams collections.
