Lot Description  

Pair of custom horsehides used during the 2004 season games at the Phillies' new home, Citizens Bank Park. Official MLB (Selig) balls are stamped "2004 Inaugural Season" with the team logo. Balls were kept by then Expos 1B coach Jerry Morales after an Expo-Phils game. Morales added under his name "2004 Game Use" on one ball and "Game Use" on the other. Both balls show ball marks and other game use.
