Ever wonder what a Gold Glove second sacker's mitt really looks like? The one used by Carlos Baerga in his first 4 seasons with the Indians (1990-93) looks less like a mitt than a mutt, the byproduct of Baerga using it apparently every single game during that skein. Dark brown Wilson mitt has been rubbed raw ans clean of most of its stampings, though the MLB logo on the wriststrap and "Carlos Baerga" embossed on the thumb are perfectly visible. Glove is surprisingly small, almost child-size, as are the mitts of most great infielders. Came from Baerga's nephew.
