L.A. Angels "black face" bobbin' head from the team's second year in existence is a near-perfect example of the politically-incorrect baseball-player dolls sold in 1962 before they were sent to the showers. 6 1/2" tall doll has "Angels" across the chest in red and a blue and red "LA" cap. Green oval base reads "Los Angeles." Underside has the made in Japan stamping and the year. Doll is NRMT and has been restored around the neck area though you can't tell with the naked eye.
