Glorious Lou Turofsky photo of the 1947-48 Stanley Cup Champion Toronto Maple Leafs. After vanquishing the Red Wings, the boys, wearing ear to ear grins can't hide the joy of owning the most revered trophy in all of sport. Captain Syl Apps and the Cup are the centerpiece, surrounded by the likes of Conn Smythe, Ted Kennedy, Howie Meeker, Max Bentley, Wally Stanowski, Harry Watson and "Turk" Broda. The photo measures 13X20 and was probably the possession of one of the players. A rare aspect of this historic picture is that it is signed Turofsky Photo on the front in sepia colored ink. There is damage to the corners, some slight tears but overall an awesome and important display of NHL history.
