These 8 vintage baseball photos are a looking glass into the game from the 1910s through the '30s. 1) Johnny Evers clad in a coat worn by the 1914 "Miracle Braves" and "hitting" with a dog and 2 young black kids behind him (with the caption calling the boys "hired help"). 2) 1930 image shows Babe Ruth heckling an ump from the dugout next to a stoic Lou Gehrig. 3-4) Two beautiful prints from the San Francisco Seals' opening day ceremonies in 1924. 5-6) Riveting photos of Stan Musial and Jackie Robinson by Chicago publicist Scotty Bjurstrom. 7) Stunning image of HOF umpire Billy Evans. 8) The coup de grace: a shot of Moe Berg and friends taken in Hong Kong on Dec. 7, 1934 -- a trip that was actually a spy mission for the catcher/government snoop. Photos are vintage originals, most 8 x 10, with stampings/captions/notations on the back. Photos average VG-EX, with the Berg mounted in a 6 x 8 display with engraved Chinese lettering.
