Topping the list are relics of the sport of fly fishing, with some items hitting high five figures. Seldom seen is antique fly fishing line. Presented are seven samples of vintage fly line dating back to the early 20th century. Six are complete spools on the original advertising discs with fantastic printed litho and artwork of the day. They are mounted on vintage advertising board, which may indicate this was a salesman's display. There is a patent date of May 14, 1901 on one variety. All examples are made of silk.
