Two fantastic freeze frames of star-crossed HOF goalie Terry Sawchuk, who still holds the shutout record with 109. Pictures of him as a fresh-faced kid in the early '50s and as a grizzled veteran in 1960 show the deterioration that led to him retiring briefly in the mid-'50s due to emotional stress, before resuming his career. Tragically, he died in 1970 at age 41 after being injured in a scuffle. Terry still holds the records for shutouts with 103. Both 8x10s are vintage and EX, one with editorial markings on front and back.
