One of the toughest of all of his signed cards. Clemente signature is 7/10 in blue ballpoint ink just above his facsimile signature. Clemente sputtered as a bonus baby in the minors for a year and the Dodgers left him unprotected, allowing him to be snatched up by the Pirates in the Group V draft. He hit just .255 in his first major league season, then blossomed into a five-tool terror. There is a diagonal crease just above Clemente's signature. Additionally, all four corners show wear, however this should be viewed as rather insignificant when considering the rarity of a Clemente signed rookie card. Card has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA and determined to be an authentic signature.
