These Atlanta Hawks' warmup top and shorts were rescued from the same Russell-Southern hamper where the Pete Maravich jersey was found by a lucky Auburn student in 1974, returned by the Hawks. Unknown who wore the top, but in the trunks is a white label with a hand-written "Bellamy" in black magic marker -- for Walt Bellamy, one of the era's best big men who averaged 20 ppg and 13 rpg in his career and played with the Hawks from '70 to '74. Trunks have washing and size "L" tag; no tags on the top. Top red and white w/red pinstripes, trunks white and red w/white pinstripes and "Atlanta" in gold on white tackle twill across back. Both EX with tight threads and colors that remain blindingly bright. Great Hawks orignals, with LOA from the collector, who owned the items since '74.
